The short answer
Plastic is not one substance, so it is not honest to say “plastic causes this disease” as a blanket claim. Some plastic chemicals and exposures are health concerns.

What is known
Health organisations are studying plastics, microplastics and chemical additives. Some chemicals can interfere with hormone systems, and exposure depends on product, use and route.
16:12So we can say concern. We can say evidence is developing. We should not turn uncertainty into a fake diagnosis.
16:20What is sensible
Reduce unnecessary single-use plastic, avoid burning waste and follow food and product guidance from proper authorities.
16:28For our products, keep claims specific and tied to evidence. That is the only grown-up route.
