The short answer
The best everyday way to dispose of a biodegradable dog poo bag is to tie it and put it in a dog-waste bin, public litter bin or household general-waste bin.

Not the hedge. Not the verge. Not the recycling. Definitely not a victory toss into nature.

The cleanest answer is usually the least romantic one.
Why not leave it?
Leaving a bag outside is still litter. A compostable or biodegradable claim does not turn a path, beach or woodland into a managed composting site.

Councils can also treat dog fouling as a public-health and local-environment problem. The kind thing is to remove it properly.

What not to do
Keep dog poo bags out of recycling, food caddies and garden collections unless your council clearly tells you otherwise.
